Willow Way

FreeTheNight_1200x900_4 (2)Based in Oklahoma City, sisters Melanie and Jenn started their indie-folk band, Willow Way, in January 2014. Co-writing, sharing lead vocals, and playing guitar, mandolin, and banjo, these sisters jumped feet first into their local music scene as they performed at popular venues around the city. With Melanie on harmonies and Jenn on lead vocals, the girls released a 2008 album, “Irish Fisher” through Lunacy Records. Their 2015 E.P., Chasing Ghosts, is available for purchase on their website.

In just a few short years, Willow Way has hit the Oklahoma music scene in a big way, getting to perform at the historic Will Rogers’ Lobby Bar, Picasso’s on Paseo, The Oklahoma City Arts Festival, Paseo Arts Festival, Bricktown’s “Rock The Boat” Festival, Oklahoma Live (KSBI TV) and more.

Melanie says the group thrives at venues that are smokefree: “We appreciate the work Free the Night does. As a vocalist, it’s my priority to take care of my vocal chords, and even secondhand smoke can begin to take a toll. I value businesses and organizations that recognize the positive impact a smoke-free working environment can hold for music artists.”
