David Dover

David Dover has been playing in Oklahoma for over 40 years. With influences including John Fogerty, Bob Segar, and John Mellencamp, David is popular among many different audiences.

David decided he wanted to be a musician at the age of 8 while watching the Ed Sullivan Show. He and his sister were sitting on the living room floor in West Tulsa, and once he heard The Beatles play, his life changed forever. David’s father bought him a guitar and would pay David one dollar every Merle Haggard and George Jones song that he would learn and play for him.

After years of putting effort into his music, David knows how important it is to keep healthy and doesn’t like smoke interfere with his shows. “I have a clearer voice when I don’t have to breathe in all the smoke!” Check out his band’s Facebook page to see where you can catch David playing next.
